You will have outstanding knowledge of the print and production process and will have at least 3 years’ experience in procurement and trafficking within a print/agency environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Trafficking: You will work alongside account managers and designers to manage the companies’ production schedules and forecast studio workflow from brief to completion.
  • Procurement: Purchasing a proportion of print related services and helping to manage the companies outsourcing, ensuring third party relationships are managed effectively and clients are kept happy
  • Management: To display leadership skills to oversee jobs from brief > quote > campaign plan > execution > invoice, by utilising the agency teams around you
  • Quality control: To ensure a ‘level of care’ is imparted in all jobs before they leave the agency to make sure every outcome is a quality product

 

Technical skills include:

  • Workflow: To understand and learn the capabilities of internal systems to help suggest and manage the best workflow system
  • Production: POS, promotional, outdoor media, large format, litho and digital
  • Repro: An understanding of repro to ensure jobs are technically correct
  • Negotiation: To build strong contacts within the industry with the ability to negotiate the most competitive supplier contracts

 

Skills / character:

  • Excellent communicator and negotiator within both internal and external teams
  • A dynamic, nimble and flexible approach to pushing deadlines, rescheduling work and finding solutions to help our growing and demanding client base
  • This post requires a high degree of contact with internal staff, clients and the supply chain, therefore a commitment to the provision of high quality customer care is essential, as is an outgoing personality and the ability to work alone or alongside our agency teams
