The job itself

An opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated individual to join a busy team providing a wide range of administrative support within the Inclusion & Access Service.  The purpose of this role is to Coordinate and facilitate the Statutory functions and associated complex business of the Inclusion and Access Service (I&A), including The School Supply Service, Customer Relations Team,  School Admissions, School Organisation, Personal Transport Budgets, HERE for Schools and Home to School and College Transport (HTST).

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and committed to providing a quality service, have a flexible approach and the ability to adapt to a changing environment.  To undertake this role successfully you need to be customer focused, able to work easily within a challenging environment, have excellent administrative and organisational skills and have the motivation and desire to achieve a high quality service. The preferred candidate needs to have the ability to confidently present information to senior officers and can demonstrate experience of meeting strict deadlines. You should be able to demonstrate effective use of a range of ICT systems/software packages.

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written are essential as this role is often the first point of contact for parents, professionals and the public.

A high level of customer service is required as is the ability to maintain confidentiality and deal with sensitive material.   Teamwork plays a vital role as does the ability to meet deadlines and work on your own initiative.
