The Faculty of Arts, Cultures and Education University of Hull encompasses the School of Education and Social Sciences; the School of Arts and the School of Histories, Languages and Cultures. This role sits within the Faculty’s Dean’s Executive Office which is responsible for matters relating to executive support, faculty governance and compliance

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding professional who will support the Governance and Compliance Team Leader in the Dean’s Executive Office to deliver a high-quality service. Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Providing administrative support for senior management team of the Faculty, including diary management
  • Supporting faculty operational planning activities, including the use of university systems to maintain accurate information sets, and the production of a faculty almanac
  • Servicing Faculty and School level committees and forums
  • Collating and analysing data to inform faculty responses to University and external requests for information, including subject access requests and FOI requests

Applications are sought from those prepared to work flexibly and collegiately. The successful candidate will need to have proven communication skills to foster good working relationships with the Faculty’s senior management team and university service teams.
