The Deep requires Receptionists to sell tickets and merchandise to visitors of the attraction efficiently, with high levels of customer service, whilst maximising the take up of the Day Plus Pass scheme.
You will normally be required to work as and when required. While the company will endeavour to notify you of the hours you will be required to work not less than one week in advance circumstances may dictate, however, that you are called upon with less notice. There is no obligation to accept the hours of work offered, but we ask for a reasonable amount of notice of unavailability. As The Deep is open 7 days a week, weekend and bank holidays need to be covered by Receptionists. Normal shift patterns fall between the hours of 9.30am and 6pm and are normally a minimum of 4 hours, to a maximum of 8 hours. Applications are particularly welcome from those with good availability at weekends, during our peak school holiday periods and bank holidays (including Christmas and New Year). These are permanent contracts. Rate of pay £8.33/hr (plus holiday pay).
