HETA has a vacancy for the following post:
Chemistry and Maths Tutor (Part-time 2 ½ days per week) Competitive salary + benefits
We are looking for an individual with the ability and background to teach Chemistry and Maths who feels they have the right skills and attributes to pass on their knowledge and experience to the next generation of engineers. The successful candidate will work 1 day per week at the HETA training centre in Stallingborough delivering chemistry to our Process operations apprentices and the remaining time delivering maths up to GCSE/Functional Skills L2 level at our sites in Hull, Scunthorpe and Stallingborough.
The successful applicant will have good technical skills, good interpersonal skills, and more than five years relevant experience.
Relevant qualifications to at least City and Guilds Craft certificate, HNC or above would be advantageous, Assessor and teaching qualifications are desirable but not essential as full support will be given in the development of necessary skills.
A full driving licence and use of own vehicle is essential.
