Role: University Liaison Officer
Part-time
3 days a week.
Usually 8:30 until 4pm but flexibility with hours and working days is essential to meet the needs of the role. The role may require working some evenings/weekends.

£25,000 pro rata

The ULO will work alongside the Children in Care team to support children between the ages of 11 and 19. They will be responsible for the development and delivery of a new and exciting project, “Step Up, Move On”. “Step Up, Move On” provides children living in Foster Care with the opportunity to learn about higher education and the opportunities available to them once they leave the care system. Between years 7 and 13, children will have the opportunity to visit different university campuses, learn about the different courses available, have a sneak peek at student accommodation and learn about finances and the wide range of support available to them.
The ULO will also be responsible for maintaining and developing the links that HEY Children’s University has with The University of Hull. They will work with the different departments of the university, developing new and exciting learning experiences for primary school groups to take part in. They will also be responsible for recruiting new volunteers on campus and organising fundraising activities with students and academic departments.
