Bishop Burton College is one of the leading land-based Colleges in the UK with strong and sustained growth in student numbers. At our Bishop Burton campus we have undergone a multi-million pound campus development programme including significant investment in state of the art teaching and learning facilities, sports facilities, a commercially run farm and an international standard equestrian facility.
Working across both our Beverley and Lincoln campuses you will teach Level 2 & 3 students across a variety of sport related subjects. You will also assess, mark and report on students’ work as well as managing and maintaining student morale and behaviour. If you already have experience reviewing and managing study programmes as well as providing pastoral support you may also manage a specific course.
Educated to degree level in a Sports related subject you will have also have a Level 2 in both English and Maths or be willing to work towards this. You will have at least 1 years’ teaching or training experience and at least 1 years’ Sport Industry experience. Excellent communication skills are necessary alongside excellent interpersonal skills in order to positively engage with students and to further develop their interest in sport. A teaching qualification is desirable, although not essential as we will support you in your teaching development.
