This is a broad ranging marketing and PR role.

  • Support the delivery of the marketing strategy, raising brand awareness and support overall recruitment objectives in consultation with College managers and staff.
  • Ensure the successful delivery of marketing and PR activities.
  • Help drive further education and higher education student recruitment at the College through a range of marketing campaigns.
  • Work with other marketing team members to ensure key marketing events, including College Open Days, public events, shows and careers events are delivered to budget and the highest possible standards.
  • Liaise with all College departments, including academic teams, catering, estates and IT to ensure all event details are communicated effectively.
  • Produce formal marketing activity and event reviews and reports, as appropriate.
  • Where necessary, attend external events, including schools events, careers events and shows to promote the College to a wide and diverse audience.
  • Act as a point of contact for the College’s Marketing team with partner education providers, as appropriate.
  • Help create literature, invitations and other appropriate marketing / promotional materials.
  • Deliver media relations activity and support with communications
  • Generate content for use on College social media platforms and for use in press releases and other promotional materials.
  • Ensure delivery of clear internal communications through a range of platforms and channels.
  • Create briefings and take detailed notes and minutes at marketing and events planning meetings.
  • Take part in all staff College events such as Lambing Sunday and Open Farm Sunday
