About the role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and committed Office Services Manager to join our Blade factory in Hull. You will provide comprehensive business support service to the Plant director and senior leadership team to assist them to operate with maximum efficiency.

You will have a small team reporting into you who are responsible for providing administrative support to the rest of the factory. You will be an ambassador for the site and will be involved in site related initiatives that represent SGRE as a world leader in renewable energy and an employer of choice. You will deal with external suppliers, interface with various business units internally and have a wide range of senior stakeholders to manage based on the day to day interactions of the Plant Director.

Some of your key tasks will be to

  • Extensive diary management, PA support and Travel arrangements
  • Effective leadership of a team of office services including performance reviews, 121’s and development for colleagues
  • Planning and co-ordination of key events, meetings, conferences, workshops, seminars including the issuing of agendas and minutes
  • Be a gate keeper and make decisions on who and when to refer important queries to in the absence of the Plant Director

About you

You will be a tenacious, resilient and proactive individual who will work well under pressure and be able to set out clear director for your own team and other stakeholder.

You will have experience in a PA or Office Services role, can understand wider business issues and initiatives and your role in it. You will be a problem solver who can innovate and apply creativity to business as usual issues and processes. This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Lastly, you will have advanced IT skills and be able to demonstrate discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential issues.
