Responsibilities may include :

Production of pension plan accounts and co-ordination with external auditor.
IFRS pension accounting for IFRS statutory accounts.
Key contact for US payroll group.
Management of VCIP accrual
Accounting for Expat taxes & RSUs
Critical spreadsheet testing & reporting
Completion of multiple balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with required timescales and company policy
Liaising with internal and external audit.
Undertaking ad-hoc accounting projects and special reviews as requested.
Journal preparation and entry.
Working within strict controls environment with the drive for efficiencies and elimination of non- value adding work
Assistance with wider financial accounting team responsibilities when required.

Basic/Required :

Strong financial and analytical background, qualified or part-qualified accountant or accounting preferable.
Pension accounting experience desirable.
Good knowledge of IFRS & US GAAP
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
IT skills – strong Excel with ideally SAP experience
Strong knowledge of financial controls and processes
Strong numeracy skills.
Legally authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
