Hull City Council is recruiting to a number of newly created Streetscene posts as part of the restructure within Hull City Council’s Environmental Services teams. We have a number of permanent posts available providing an exciting opportunity to improve environmental standards right across the city of Hull.

You will join a welcoming service, where expectations are high but where you will receive support and supervision to really make a difference on environmental issues affecting Hull.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Waste Management Policy Development Officer to lead on environmental sustainability in the fabulous city of Hull. You will develop and expand a network of business, community and resident partnerships that support the Council’s core operational services to increase recycling and improve environmental standards through partnership working and community engagement.

The post is varied; the successful applicant will be involved in leading the implementation of the Council’s waste minimisation, education and communication strategies to improve environmental standards, reduce waste and maximise participation in all recycling schemes.
