About the quality manager job

As Quality Manager you will lead the company’s drive to improve processes and systems. Working with the management team you will be responsible for changing processes and systems in line with the company strategy and ensuring we maintain our ISO accreditations.


What you will do

  • Work with senior managers to execute process improvement projects
  • Collaborate with our parent company to look for synergies and ways their existing and separately documented policies and procedures can be adopted and improved
  • Co-ordinate and conduct quality Improvement Meetings to ensure the Quality Management System remains effective and relevant to business needs and co-ordinate the implementation of any corrective actions or improvement activities
  • When appropriate, recruit, train and administer specialised staff to perform quality activities required by the Quality Management System
  • Liaise with BSI and maintaining APD’s ISO 9001:2000 accreditation


What you have already done

  • Experience in a Quality Manager/Engineer or Process Improvement Manager/Engineer role or similar
  • ISO9000: 2000, TickIT and CMM (capability maturity model)
  • Good communication skills across all levels
  • Worked with external auditors
