Leading and Managing a team of Technical Leads and Product Architects you will provide the required designs and architectural decision making for the product set in line with the business and product vision.  You will ensure there is excellent governance and providing the Technical Design Authority for APD.

Your team will design innovative solutions to real market problems, working closely with Product Managers, Marketing Managers, Sales and Pre-Sales, Lead Engineers, Product Owners and Customers to create and document the direction of the product architecture.

What you will do

  • Lead, support and manage the Technical Team and line management of team members
  • Provide technical advice and guidance across the department
  • Provide and manage the overall Technical Design Authority for APD implementing the appropriate process and systems to support
  • Understand product vision and business needs to define product requirements and product architectural solutions
  • Work with the Technical key stakeholders to drive progress and development
  • Interact with Key Suppliers and Partners to ensure the entire solution works seamlessly. Help to build robust industry relationships

 

What you have already done

  • Good people management skills, ability to bring teams together to work to a common goal
  • You are organised, have an eye for detail, and be able to put ideas into a tangible form. Ability to prioritise and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to design both front end workflow and back end architecture, keeping up to date with the latest technology and trends.
  • Strong experience in architectural work and development with a Computer Science degree (or similar) or with or ability to demonstrate high level of industry/ relevant experience in coding/ programming and experience of Scrum / Agile
