The Organisation Redesign Team now has a temporary vacancy for a Senior Organisation Redesign Officer. We seek an enthusiastic, committed and motivated person to join our team, leading on a number of projects to achieve savings and to improve the quality, efficiency and performance of Council services.
The Senior Organisation Redesign Officer will lead business process re-engineering projects to challenge current practice, consider application of ICT, reduce duplication and streamline processes in order to improve service delivery and support the Council's Business Transformation Programme.
The post will focus on delivering the Transforming East Riding project, which aims to develop and implement a new and innovative model of service delivery across the Council, embracing the new ways technology enabled citizens expect to use digital devices to interact with public services.You will also lead projects to streamline internal processes within the Council achieving efficiency improvements and reducing costs. You will use project management and service redesign tools and techniques to help evaluate processes and develop improvement plans. You will be IT literate, with a good understanding of local authority functions.
This job is temporary until 31 March 2019. It is appropriate for a short term contract or as a secondment opportunity. Potential candidates must obtain their line manager's prior approval.
