Reporting to the Board of Directors, you will be tried and tested in all aspects of financial control and management. The role itself is a strategic, high-profile role to support key stakeholders. This role will be responsible for all aspects of financial management, reporting, financial analysis, accounting, banking and tax. With significant levels of autonomy, this role would suit a self-motivated and commercially astute individual.

The Role:
• Preparing cost and quantitative information to support management in planning and decision making
• Preparing monthly, interim and full accounts through to P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow
• Shaping the finance department to the needs of the Group
• Adhering to weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly Group submission timetable
• Conducting month-on-month analytical review of business figures, performing variance analysis and budgeting
• Providing appropriate reports and analysis to give management greater visibility of the performance and profitability of the different parts of the growing businesses and the Group.
• Reviewing, challenging and implementing key accounting and business processes with scalability at the forefront
• Preparation of consolidated Group accounts as well as individual Company accounts
• Manage ad hoc projects as identified by the Directors

• ACA, ACCA or ACMA qualified with industry experience, preferably in creative or professional service sectors

• Experience in private and/or listed UK companies a pre-requisite
• The ability to shape the growing finance department to the needs of the business as it continues its expansion
• Experience of one of the standard accounting software packages such as Xero or Sage (this is currently being used)
• An energetic and positive attitude. We are looking for a pro-active team player who is keen to contribute to a dynamic and growing Group of businesses
• Experience/knowledge of Group and consolidation accounting
• Creative and proactive approach to management reporting and financial analysis
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills: able to persuade, influence and collaborate with all stakeholders in the Group
• Bright, motivated and capable individual with a high degree of drive and determination, able to swiftly establish personal credibility
• The ability to lead and motive team members
