This is major investment in a comprehensive technology refresh that will form the basis of further improvements across the Authority and with partners for years to come. This is an opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of this important change agenda.
We are looking for a dynamic Business Change Manager to work alonside our existing postholder to lead the cultural change necessary for the programme to be successful. You will be responsible for championing the needs of service areas whilst balancing this against the need to drive efficiencies and excellent customer experience. You will lead a team of Business Analysts and Customer Services Improvement Officers who will engage with service areas to develop new processes and work with IT colleagues to deliver an optimal solution.
You will have experience of change management techniques and methodology. Ideally you will have some knowledge of the different functions within a Local Authority. You will be a skilled problem solver and be able to prioritise key areas of focus to achieve the greatest benefits. You will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to influence stakeholders to effect cultural change. You will be able to lead a team effectively in a matrix management environment including working closely with external suppliers. You will be able to work within an Agile methodology and ideally have experience of this.
