As the result of the transformation, an excellent opportunity for a strong Engineering Manager has arisen. You will be based at the Humber Bridge in Hessle to take on a technically-challenging role to set up, lead and develop the newly-formed Engineering team, ensuring the Humber Bridge structures and highway assets are maintained in a safe and serviceable condition.
In this autonomous role, you will be responsible for project delivery and health and safety in the team. You will provide technical advice to Senior Management Team, partners and stakeholders whilst maintaining effective partnerships and working relationships with statutory, voluntary, private agencies and communities to promote and meet the HBB and Department’s services and objectives.
The role will also include deputising for the Head of Engineering and Infrastructure as appropriate, together with undertaking the role of NEC Project Manager and statutory roles of Principal Designer as
defined in the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
