Following a restructure and, with exciting plans for the future, the Board is expanding its organisation with a variety of roles.  Could you be part of our success story as we approach our 40th anniversary?

As a result of the transformation an excellent opportunity for a strong and enthusiastic HR Business Partner has arisen. You will be based at the Humber Bridge in Hessle, working with senior management to help shape positive change and development that contributes to achieving business objectives, including the development of the organisation’s culture, values and plans.  You will also be responsible for all day-to-day human resources functions including learning and development, recruitment and retention, pay and reward, employee relations, policy and procedure interpretation and delivery, case management and general advice.  

Person Specification: 

  • CIPD graduate qualification (Chartered Member status preferable)
  • HR generalist proven experience 
  • Development and delivery of training
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to influence and negotiate
  • Presentation skills
  • Report writing
  • Organised and able to manage competing demands
  • Knowledge of employment law and practical application
  • Experience of collective bargaining and consultation with Trade Unions
  • Experience in commercial sector
