North Lincolnshire Council is an ambitious, high performing and transformational organisation. We are seeking to appoint two exceptional Consultants in Public Health/ Public Health Medicine who will achieve improved health and wellbeing outcomes effectively tackle health inequalities for our population. In North Lincolnshire, we have a longstanding culture of partnership working and so we need Consultants who can work well with partners and stakeholders to achieve a fully integrated approach to transforming Health and Wellbeing in the county. We are looking for Consultants who are innovative and effective leaders who will support the Director of Public Health to drive forward our ambition to significantly improve health and wellbeing outcomes, reduce health inequalities, increase healthy life expectancy and develop flourishing, resilient communities. There will be some travel required around the area. You will be an experienced public health professional at a senior level and be included on the GMC Specialist Register/GDC Specialist List or UK Public Health Register. The following policy areas will be shared between the two posts: health improvement, health protection, healthcare public health, health inequalities and public health intelligence. The policy areas will be agreed following appointment and both post holders will deputise for the Director of Public Health.
