Applications are sought from suitably qualified persons for the post of Supply Chain Network Project Manager, part of the ERYC Business Support Services team.

The Supply Chain Network Team (TSCN) supports SMEs to enhance their supply chain competitiveness by:

  • Identifying and strengthening knowledge and intelligence of supply chain opportunities, standards and specifications from across the region;
  • Identifying, informing and supporting SMEs to be supply chain ready to access the opportunities available.

Based at ergo, Bridgehead Business Park, Hessle, but working across the York, North York and Humber regions, the TSCN Project Manager will operate at a strategic level in order to continually develop the Supply Chain Network, ensuring it remains relevant to the local business community.

Managing an in house team of 5, working with delivery partners from across North Yorkshire and strategic partners from across the wider region, the successful candidate will deliver the project in line with ERDF funding and eligibility requirements.  

Essential to the role is:

  • Working with key sector organisations and Inward Investment teams in the identification of supply chain opportunities and development of appropriate resources to increase and maximise the supply chain opportunities for regional businesses
  • Providing OEMs and Inward Investors with a supply chain network to increase their opportunities to source goods and services from the local economy.
  • Supporting businesses to grow, develop, increase their supply chain wins
  • Monitoring project delivery activity against project timescales and outputs taking action to find solutions to address under / over performance

The role is funded by the European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020. Established by the European Union, the European Regional Development Fund helps local areas stimulate their economic development by investing in projects which will support innovation, businesses, create jobs and local community regeneration.
