TVUK will be constructing the UK’s first acetylated wood production facility at Saltend Chemicals Park in Hull.

The production facility combines Accsys’s proprietary technology and wood chip to create Tricoya Wood Elements, an acetylated wood product. Tricoya Wood Elements have an enhanced durability and stability which allow for an increase in the variety of use. With the Construction of the brand-new facility, a planned team of around 30 staff will initial operate the production facility with a potential planned expansion.

As the Plant Manager, you will report to the General Manager and be responsible for;

  • Project Management of the construction phase of the plant
  • Recruitment and training of a multi-disciplined team
  • Operational running of plant including efficiency, managing capex, problem solving, maintenance and onsite health and safety
  • Representation of TVUK in the UK – Liaising with the local community and attending events
  • Deputising for the General Manager in his absence

To be the successful Plant Manager, you will be qualified to degree level or equivalent. Previous experience of running a plant is essential, as well as managerial experience. You must have the technical knowledge and expertise, with a familiarity to industry equipment. Previous experience of project management of the construction phase of a new plant or plant expansions would be advantageous.
