Skills Humber, in partnership with Hull City Council and Humber Local Enterprise Partnership, is the region’s largest career, skills and apprenticeship event for young people.

This year, running virtually on 21 April 2021, the event will allow visitors the opportunity to visit a huge variety of exhibition stands to discover more about their future.

A twilight session for young people and their families, between 4-6pm, will allow visitors the opportunity to speak with exhibitors via a video chat function, which will provide the face-to-face conversations that are so needed in this current climate.

With more than 2,500 visitors already booked to attend the event, Skills Humber is gearing up to be a huge success for the region.

On the list to exhibit at the event this year are: Health Careers UK, Maritime UK, HMRC, T Levels, Orsted, Bishop Burton College, Humber Outreach Programmes, The University of Law, Airco Training, Oxford Brookes University, The UK Fashion and Textile Association, Grimsby Institute of Further and Higher Education, Smailes Goldie, BL Training, British Army, East Riding College, Cranswick Foods, SACU, Bishop Grossteste University, East Riding Council, Marketing Humber, Hull Training and Adult Education, Hull City Council, Humber Local Enterprise Partnership Careers Hub, University of Hull, Group Atlantic, HETA, Hull College and the Society and College of Radiographers.

These organisations will provide visitors with information about careers, training and learning opportunities available to them, which will open up a greater field of research for them to explore.

Skills Humber is part of the Skills England series, organised by Prospects Events. Each year, Skills England attracts over 68,000 visitors across their 11 UK events. These bring in school/college leavers, teachers/career leaders, as well as parents, carers and families.

So make sure you book your FREE place, either as group visit with a school, or on your own with family/friends.
