EEF, the manufacturers’ organisation was delighted today to sign Marketing Humber as a new affiliate partner to help businesses deal with the difficult challenges they face in a post-Brexit world.
Marketing Humber has already been actively working with EEF in the region to connect business communities and build awareness of the Humber offer, initially focusing on ports and logistics, where there are many opportunities to strengthen the relationships for import and export across the industrial corridor of the north, providing alternative routes for movement of produce across the UK and beyond.
Andrew Kinniburgh, Head of Membership at EEF said: “We are delighted that our relationship with Marketing Humber is entering a new and exciting phase with the signing of this partnering agreement.
“We look forward to working closely with this important group of Humber based manufacturers, representing them at the highest levels in government. By working together we have unrivalled national and local political reach and a clearer understanding of pressing issues for Marketing Humber and their members.”
Managing Director of Marketing Humber, Diana Taylor, added: “This is an opportunity to connect our regional manufacturers, active in all sectors, with the national voice of EEF. It provides our strong network of businesses, our bondholders, affiliate membership with EEF.
This will give our businesses of all sizes access to the latest information on critical business challenges and to raise the profile of the Humber on the national state. It will also offer the opportunity for companies to become full members of EEF with extended business support if they desire.”
